3 killed in hit and run accidents

GURUGRAM: At least four cases of accidents were reported in the city on Wednesday in which three people, including a cyclist, lost their lives.
In the first case, a cyclist died on the spot after being hit by an unknown vehicle. The accident took place in sector 43 on Tuesday night. Deceased, identified as Manoj Jha, hailed from Kishangarh in Rajasthan and currently lived in Gurugram's Bhondsi.

An FIR has been registered at Sushant Lok police station under sections 279 (Rash driving or riding on a public way) and 304a (causing death by negligence) of the IPC.
In another accident, Karori Mal, a resident of village Uncha Majra in Pataudi, was hit by a speeding truck at around 1.00 pm on Wednesday. An FIR was registered regarding that at Pataudi police station under sections 279 and 304a.
In Manesar, Satish Kumar, a resident of Alwar, died on the spot after being hit by a speeding vehicle. The accident took place near Bisam Mandir near Delhi-Gurugram expressway. An FIR was filed at Manesar police station.
Another accident took place near Jharsa flyover at around 1.10 am in the early hours of Wednesday. Sanjeev, a resident of Suratnagar, was crossing the flyover in sector 31 in his truck. He was accompanied with his friend Ram when an unknown vehicle hit their truck. Both Sanjeev and Ram received severe injuries. The police have registered an FIR under sections 279and 337 at sector 40 police station.
