Youth killed in road accident
Panaji: Twenty-three-year-old Javed Badodekar died on his way to the hospital, after the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a bus in Panaji.
Badodekar, a resident of Betim, was hit by the bus near Panaji market on Monday evening. Accused Ramchandra Yeshwant Dharwadkar was driving the bus on the Panaji-Miramar route. A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against Dharwadkar.
Badodekar died when being taken to Goa Medical College for treatment. His friend Kunal Shinde was riding pillion and has sustained injuries.
