seat for the upcoming assembly election, Rajendra Talak said he would take it up if the people of Margao were willing. “If people really want me, I will be there. For me Margao is a priority,” he said.

“I will take the decision as and when it comes. Even the post of ESG vice-chairman came as a surprise. I do my work well and give results. That put me here. My work in Margao also spoke for me, especially the Clean Margao, Green Margao campaign. If the people of Margao really want me, I am there for them. I will do anything for Margao. That’s my goal, be it politics of not,” he added. There are speculations that BJP might consider Talak for Margao.
