Vanita’s mother-in-law applies for bail

Anticipating arrest by Quepem police, Kalpana Gaonkar, mother-in-law of the deceased Vanita Gaonkar, who committed suicide due to alleged harassment, has moved an anticipatory bail application before the judicial magistrate first class at Quepem. Her husband Ganesh Gaonkar was earlier granted bail in the suicide case. The hearing for Kalpana’s bail plea has been fixed for Friday, October 21
