Valpoi boy chosen to interact with PM in Pariksha Pe Charcha
Panaji: Shreejit Vaibhav Gadgil, a student of Valpoi-based Dr K B Hedgewar High School, has been selected after a rigorous process to represent Goa in the Pariksha Pe Charcha interactive session with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Pariksha Pe Charcha is an initiative of the Prime Minister that provides a platform for students, teachers and parents to interact on issues related to examinations, stress management and learning.
As part of the selection process, an online MCQ competition was conducted on a govtt portal from Dec 1, 2025, to Jan 11, 2026, for teachers, parents and students studying from Class VI to XII. Schools across Goa were required to submit one-minute videos of two students answering questions, which were sent to the Goa State Council for Educational Research and Training . Each state was asked to forward the 10 best one-minute videos to NCERT.
Gadgil and Prachi Lokar of Govt High School, Dayanand Nagar, Dharbandora, were shortlisted and selected for an online interaction. The final selection was made after an online interaction conducted by officials of the Union education ministry. Gadgil was congratulated by chief ministerPramod Sawant.
