Two arrested for motorcycle theft
Porvorim police, on Saturday, arrested two persons on charges of stealing a motorcycle in Pilerne.
Police arrested Altam Goes, 26, of Volvaddo, Pilerne, and Mathew D'Souza, 27, of Saligao.
Police said that Goes replaced the original number plate of the vehicle with a duplicate.
"The owner of the vehicle noticed that Goes was using the motorcycle," police said.
"Goes has confessed that he committed the crime and informed us that D' Souza was also part of it. We have arrested both accused under Section 379 IPC," police added.
