Three rob Vasco man near rly track

Vasco: Vasco police have filed a case against three unidentified individuals for robbery and causing grievous injuries to a person near the railway track at Mestawada road, Vasco.

Upendra Pangam, a resident of New Vaddem, Vasco, said that he was robbed of Rs 1,600 near the railway track around 7pm on Nov 25.

The unidentified accused also attempted to steal the complainant’s mobile phone, inflicting a grievous neck injury with a knife and causing injuries on his head and fingers with a stone during the robbery.

The accused fled the scene after committing the crime. PSI Krishna Talpi is investigating the case under PI Melson Colaco’s supervision.
