KERI: Vivekanand Environment Awareness Brigade, Keri-Sattari, has started to present street plays themed on beating plastic pollution in various towns of Goa.
Member secretary, Goa State Council for Science and Technology, Deepak Parab, says, “As the menace of plastic pollution has been increasing in all walks of life in order to generate awareness, we have organized various programmes with the help of the ministry of environment, forests and climate change.

From June 3 to 5, VEAB will stage street plays on the theme at Margao, Vasco and Panaji.”
Director of the street play, Shubhada Chari, says, “We are not only highlighting the gravity of plastic pollution, but through environment-related dialogues and songs, we are providing solutions. There are various alternatives available to plastic.”
