Pramod Sawant took oath as Goa chief minister for the second consecutive term on Monday. Eight other cabinet ministers took oath of office on Monday. The swearing-in ceremony is being held at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium in Taleigao. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah, Union minister Nitin Gadkari, BJP national president JP Nadda and chief ministers of BJP-governed states attended the swearing-in ceremony.
