Benaulim
on Wednesday tried to put up a united front by extending support to the party candidate, Anthony
Dias
.

, one of the aspirants and general secretary of the
Goa Pradesh Congress Committee
(
GPCC
), told reporters in the presence of Dias that she has kept her discontent with the party aside.
“The need of the hour is to keep out all other parties in the fray for the 2022 elections and get Congress voted to office,” she said. When asked whether she has accepted Dias as a Congressman after recently terming him as an import from TMC, she said that her goal was to see the success of the party candidate.
Dias, in his brief address, appealed to well-wishers of the party to unite and support his candidature.
Some panchs from Benaulim, Varca and Orlim were also present.
