North Goa collector transferred
Following a clearance from the Election Commissioner, North Goa collector G P Naik was transferred on Friday evening and replaced by K S Singh, IAS.
Singh was serving in the secretariat as secretary (co-operation). Naik, meanwhile, awaits his posting by the personnel department. He had earlier served as South Goa collector and was asked to move to the North Goa collectorate in a re-shuffle of personnel in view of the coming Lok Sabha elections.
