Nigerian drug peddler held in Candolim

CALANGUTE: A Nigerian drug-peddler, Joy Best Ezenna, 29 was caught red-handed with cocaine at Candolim on Monday afternoon in a raid conducted by Calangute PSI’s Mahesh Gadekar and Manguirish Volvoikar, and personnel from the Calangute police station.
Calangute police said they received information that Ezenna was supplying cocaine to tourists at Candolim, following which they laid a trap using a decoy customer.As arranged, Ezenna arrived at a guest house on Monday with four grams of cocaine, worth 12,000, and was promptly arrested by the police team.
He has been arrested under Section 21 (b) of the NDPS Act. On Tuesday, Ezenna will be produced in court for remand.
