On Wednesday, the temperature in the state peaked at 35.2°C, with a minimum of 24.4°C. Cooling showers brought temporary relief from Nov's unusual heat.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an yellow alert for Nov 15, warning of thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds up to 30-40 km/h in isolated areas of Goa.
The relief from rainfall is temporary, as the IMD forecasts dry weather in Goa from Nov 16 to 20, with no significant rainfall expected.
