Four towns to gets edu complexes: CM

MARGAO

: Chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Saturday announced that the government will prioritize the task of constructing an educational complex for the towns of Margao, Vasco, Ponda and Mapusa, similar to the educational hub situated at

Bambolim

on the outskirts of

Panaji

Parsekar, who is also the education Minister, made this remark after inaugurating the renovated and modernized fourth floor of the

Samaj Seva Sangh

’s 83-year-old Mahila and Nutan English High school, Comba-Margao, that comprises a science, computer laboratory and an e-library. The CM also honoured two distinguished alumni –

Suresh Govind Kare

and

Ramkrishna Keshav Naik

and felicitated 50 meritorious students of the 2016 SSCE batch. A retired staffer

Usha Shirodkar

was also felicitated by the guest of honour
