Man, son beaten over parking row

GHAZIABAD: A 63-year-old man and his son were beaten by three men over a parking row in Rajnagar District Centre (RDC) in Ghaziabad, police said on Saturday.
A video that went viral on social media sites showed three men wearing black clothes thrashing the father-son duo. The police said V P Singh, a retired police officer and his son reside in Kavi Nagar.
Singh, in his complaint, stated that his son has a printing shop in RDC and he parks his car on the same nearby spot daily.
“On Saturday, I went to his shop and parked the car there. A man asked me to remove my car. My son then started moving the vehicle when two more persons came and started thrashing us,” Singh said. “The accused also snatched my two gold rings,” he alleged.
Raj Kumar Sharma, SHO of Kavi Nagar police station, said, “We are investigating into the matther.”
An FIR has been lodged against one Sanjay Tyagi, one Imraan Khan and an unknown person under Section 392 (snatching) of the IPC.
