Soon, vocational training courses at govt colleges

Ghaziabad: Twelve govt intercolleges and 50 govt-aided schools in the city are set to introduce vocational training courses for students.
The district inspector of schools (DIOS) met with the chief development officer (CDO) on Thursday to select 13 topics, including tourism and hospitality, automotive design, telecommunication, and plumbing, which will be offered to students from classes 9 to 12.
According to the officials, out of the total 18 topics suggested by the state education department, 13 were selected in the meeting, which will now be planned for offering at the schools.
