Brothers on bike killed in accident on elevated road

Police said the duo were returning home to Delhi’s Ghazipur area, when the accident took place. The two have been identified as Jailal (21) and Santlal (18).
Police received a call on the control room around 10.30pm about two persons lying in a pool of blood on the elevated road. “They had fallen down from a motorbike which they were riding after delivering milk in various societies in Raj Nagar Extension. They received injuries on their head and chest. Police rushed them to a private hospital in Vaishali’s Sector 6 where they succumbed to their injuries. The bodies were sent for postmortem,” said Sachin Malik, SHO, Indirapuram.
The deceased originally belonged to Chitrakoot district in UP. They are survived by their parents and two brothers. Hariom, one of the brothers of the victims, said, “We do not know which vehicle hit the motorcycle on which my brothers were riding. Jailal was helping my father in the dairy business while Santal was studying in Class XI.”
On the basis of the complaint filed by the family, an FIR has been registered.
