NEW DELHI: Union Minister and RLD chief
Jayant Chaudhary has received a death threat.
Sources said that, according to a complaint filed by the minister’s personal assistant, the threat was made over a phone call on the morning of March 18. The caller allegedly warned that the minister would be killed.
“The complaint also includes allegations that the Union Minister may have been subjected to surveillance or spying,” sources added.
Police sources confirmed that the matter is under investigation, and efforts are underway to trace the origin of the threatening call.
