Two arrested for firing at builder’s house
New Delhi: Delhi Police's crime branch has arrested two men in connection with the firing at a builder's office in southwest Delhi's Bindapur. The incident was reported on Feb 20 as three rounds were fired.The firing was allegedly carried out to intimidate the businessman over a land dispute and force a settlement on the gang's terms, police said. A case was registered under sections of the BNS and Arms Act.

The accused, identified as Bharat (23), a resident of Uttam Nagar, and Veeraz (23), a resident of Rajapuri, were apprehended on Sunday near UER-II while allegedly attempting to change their hideout. Police said the duo were active members of the Vinod alias Vicky Sanyasi gang, which is associated with the Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu gang, and were allegedly acting at the behest of the jailed gangster. Bharat had recently been released from Tihar Jail, where he allegedly came in contact with Vinod and began working on his instructions, police said. TNN
