Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, in a statement on their X handle, urged devotees from nearby areas to consider delaying their visit to Ayodhya by 15-20 days.

The ‘Mukhya Snan’ (main bathing ritual) for Mauni Amavasya at Kumbh in Prayagraj will take place on January 29, 2025. It is estimated that approximately 10 crore devotees will take a holy dip in Prayagraj on this auspicious day, with many traveling to Ayodhya via train and road.

In the past three days, the number of devotees arriving in Ayodhya has surged dramatically. Given Ayodhya Dham’s population and size, it is becoming increasingly challenging to ensure smooth darshan of Prabhu Shri Ram Lalla for such a large number of devotees in a single day, causing inconvenience. As a result, necessary adjustments are being made to prevent any untoward incidents, with some devotees having to walk longer distances.

We kindly request devotees from nearby areas to plan their visit to Ayodhya 15-20 days later, allowing those traveling from farther regions to have a better darshan experience. This will help make the experience more convenient for all.

With the arrival of Vasant Panchami and the pleasant weather in February, it would be ideal for devotees from nearby areas to plan their visit during that time. We sincerely request you to consider this appeal.
