Sons tie 70-year-old mom in chains, held

NEW DELHI: Two men and their wives have been arrested for tying up their mother at their house in west Delhi’s Nangloi on Thursday evening after she was rescued by the police at the behest of the locals.
The 70-year-old woman, Munni Begum, was found tied to a cot at their house with a chain over the past six months. The woman had lost her senses and was mentally unstable.She was taken to a hospital and put under intensive care.
A case of the illegal confinement has been registered against her sons Mohammad Nasim and Mohammad Zahid. tnn
