Shopping festival ends with a bang

The hugely successful Delhi Times and American Express Shopping Hungama at Karol Bagh culminated on Sunday with the excitement reaching its peak during the final draw.
The closing ceremony and the Mega draw of the shopping festival was held on 26th October at 7.30 p.m.
The gala evening saw scintillating performances by Vipin Aneja and BOYC with dance sequences by Zenith, followed by a magnificent fireworks display.
The draw for the final three Santro Xing cars was taken out by celebrity stylist Blossom Kochar. The lucky winners were Naveen Sharma who had shopped from Sirs & Hers, Molly Kanodia and Narendra Baid, both of whom had shopped from Paul Garments.
The Karol Bagh market was decorated like never before, with lights and colourful frills, to celebrate Diwali and the shopping festival.
Mr.Ramesh Sethi, senior vice president, Beopar Mandal, Ajmal Khan Road, said: ‘‘Karol Bagh has witnessed the largest ever turnout of shoppers with their families not only from Delhi but all across the NCR, and the festival has been a grand success’’.
