<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">hyderabad: centre for dna fingerprinting and diagnosis(cdfd) scientist dr g v rao has denied having received samples for dna testing in connection with the nitish kataria murder case. he has also denied reports that he was going on a two-week leave. speaking to <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">the times of india </span>from the cdfd office, he clarified, ‘‘i am not on leave and have no intention of going on leave.’’ he also added that he had not received any samples for dna testing from the ghaziabad police in connection with the murder.
‘‘even though i had initially got a call from the ghaziabad superintendent of police, a k raghav in connection with the case, i have not received any samples from anywhere regarding the nitish kataria murder case,’’ he said. ‘‘we were hoping to receive the samples earlier, but have not got any official intimation as to when we will get them,’’ he said. rao also dismissed other reports that said he had received threatening calls. ‘‘i have not received any threats over the phone or in any other way regarding investigations in the case,’’ he said. </div> </div>
