NEW DELHI: India's cricket stalwart Sachin Tendulkar, who was nominated as the Rajya Sabha member earlier this year, is all set to attend the monsoon session of the Parliament.
According to sources, Tendulkar is scheduled to arrive before the August 8 session. But he won't be able to attend the entire Parliament session due to his commitment to the Indian Test team.
As of now, the government has recommended to the President to call the monsoon session from August 8 to September 7.

As per the schedule, India are going to play two-match Test series against New Zealand in August and September. ""The first Test match is going to be played from August 23 onwards and so it won't be possible for Tendulkar to attend the entire session,"" a source close to the cricketer told TOI.
