NCRTC sets up EV fast charging station at Anand Vihar
New Delhi: The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has commissioned the largest fast electric vehicle (EV) charging station along the Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor at Anand Vihar, in a push to promote clean mobility in the region. The facility is equipped with 10 high-capacity chargers of 480 kW each. Four-wheelers can be charged up to 80% in around 30 minutes, while dedicated points for heavy commercial EVs have also been provided.“EV users can avail this facility through the ElectreeFi mobile application. Users need to register on the app and book an online charging slot at the desired Namo Bharat station. Once booked, vehicles can be charged within minutes. The app also allows real-time monitoring of charging status and enables seamless digital payments,” stated NCRTC.With this addition, EV charging infrastructure is now available at eight stations on the corridor, including Sahibabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Muradnagar, Modinagar South, Modinagar North and Meerut South.
