Part-2. .Reducing Emission from Automobiles and Economy (Electricity and Coal) begins by correctly following the Laws of Motion (the 1st and 2nd Laws of Newton's Laws of Motion), that is 1) Recovery of most of the Kinetic Energy while Braking and reusing that same Energy for Powering the Next Acceleration, and 2) using F=ma to increase the Transmission Efficiency; and it all starts with getting rid of Energy Wasting Friction Brakes from all Automobiles - Engine Driven or Electric.. .All Automobiles need to quickly adopt what would be known as `Euro-6 Transmission' (on the line of Euro-6 Engine and Fuel Standards), that would recover at least 60% of Braking Energy, as also follow F=ma in Transmission design for a minimum of 60% efficiency; and improve this further to Euro-8 (80%) and Euro-10 Transmissions (with >95% Braking Energy recovery) in a decade.. .As for Electric, Hybrid and Hydrogen Vehicles, they should Recover >80% of Braking Energy, by using Rapid Progress in Electrical, Electronics and Battery Technologies, as well as some of the Marvels of Mechanical Engineering!; like a Simple Energy Mechanism of a pull-back Toy Car!. ..Trrrr (Braking), ..Vroom (Free Acceleration!).. .Further improvement in Energy Efficiency (thru better Aerodynamics and lower Tyre/Traction losses) would automatically emerge, once this basic Energy Mistake in design of our Auto, of using Friction Brakes to stop and using New Energy, Engine/ Motor/ Battery Power to Accelerate once again is eliminated.. .All Automobiles can and should Accelerate by using only the Braking Energy (Recovered and Stored in Transmission), without using any New Energy and Fuel; any of the Battery Power, Electricity and use of Coal.. .Automobiles that use Engine and Fuel, incl. Hybrid Vehicles should get rid of Energy Wasting Friction Brakes and use Mechanical Regenerative Brakes, to reduce the Air Pollution, Energy/Fuel, Heat, Carbon and other Emission from all Automobiles.. .Electric Vehicles should use Mechanical Regenerative Brakes for Braking and getting a Battery Free Acceleration, and use Motor and Battery Power only for Cruising after the initial acceleration (Powered by the Energy Recovered and Stored in the Transmission while Braking previously). Now Smaller Motors mean smaller Batteries and Lower Cost and Weight of the Batteries and EVs, as well as less charging time!.. .Hydrogen Vehicles should get rid of Friction Brakes and use Mechanical Regenerative Brakes to reduce the Motor/ Fuel Cell Power, and the size of the Hydrogen Tank!.. .A Simple realization by Automakers that a Coil spring @ in Automobile can act as Motor, Generator and Battery/Ultra Capacitor in one simple object (to Recover, Store and Re-use the Braking Energy), can reduce the Energy, Fuel and Emission from All Automobiles (Battery Power and Electricity for all those Electric Vehicles!).
