NEW DELHI: Sacked Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) minister Kapil Mishra protested outside Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence on Friday morning.

Mishra wanted to meet the CM to “ask him why he is not sacking health minister Satyendar Jain“, but he was stopped from entering the premises.

Mishra was accompanied by some supporters who were earlier associated with the Anna movement besides the mother of AAP volunteer Santosh Koli, who had died after an accident in 2013.

Making fresh allegations against Jain, Mishra said on Thursday that Jain had purchased 80 acres in different parts of rural Delhi between 2013 and 2016. He claimed that he was saying this on the basis of “findings of the income-tax department“ which is probing his links with shell companies and hawala transactions.“ TOI has not independently verified the documents that he produced.

Mishra also alleged that Jain had informed the Election Commission that he had passed out in 1992, but in 2015 told the EC that he had passed out in 1991. Neither Jain, nor the Delhi government spokesperson answered TOI's calls or replied to its queries regarding these allegations.
