NEW DELHI: A day after he was sacked as minister by the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Asim Ahmed Khan has alleged that he was being targeted by certain forces within the party and was a "victim of internal politics".
Addressing a news conference, Khan said, "Mujhe naam dia gya Asim Ahmed Khan, mantri, aur use naam dia gya 'bicholia'; to bicholiye ka koi to naam to hoga? (I was named as Asim Ahmed Khan, minister, but the other person was just referred as a middleman; the middleman must have a name)." He asserted that it was important to name the other voice in the tape.
