Farmers Protest Live Updates: Haryana police thwarted farmers’ second attempt in three days to march towards Delhi, deploying teargas at the Punjab-Haryana border in Shambhu on Sunday. The action left many injured, prompting Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha to suspend the march. Injured farmers were taken to a government hospital in Rajpura for treatment. Protesters accused authorities of using “tear smoke grenades,” which produce dense smoke for crowd control.
