NEW DELHI: Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s international working president Pravin Togadia has filed a complaint with the Economic Offences Wing that the VHP Facebook page was hacked and defamatory material was posted on it.
In his complaint, Togadia said that he and Rushi Vekaria, a VHP worker, were the administrators of the page. “On February 18, around 8.36 pm Vekaria got an alert email from Facebook that he had been removed as the administrator of the page and that the page was being opened and operated from some other device.

He immediately alerted me but by then both of us were removed as administrators of the page and denied access,” said Togadia.
Defamatory, abusive and malicious messages were posted on the page and the posts were so dangerous that they put lives of the people in the organization at risk, he added.
Togadia said the hacking looked overtly political and police should investigate into the conspiracy.
