NEW DELHI: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Choudhary Prem Singh expelled four municipal councillors and issued show cause notices to two others for alleged anti-party activity.

NEW DELHI: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Choudhary Prem Singh expelled four municipal councillors and issued show cause notices to two others for alleged anti-party activity.
The expelled councillors include Preeti, Vivek Vihar councillor, Nathu Ram Nagar from Rana Pratap Bagh, Bhagveer from Tughlakabad and Praveen Massey from Dallu Pura.

Preeti’s brother Jitender Singh Shunty has filed papers as an independent candidate from Shahdara constituency.
Nathu Ram Nagar’s brother Vinod Nagar has filed nomination papers from Model Town constituency from the Lok Jan Shakti Party and Nathu Ram has been accused of working against the Congress candidate Kunwar Karan Singh.
Bhagveer has been accused of working against the Congress candidate Vir Singh and Parveen Massy against Brahm Pal in Trilokpuri constituency.
Jai Kishan Sharma, Najafgarh councillor, and Sadhana Sharma from Burari have been served a show cause notice for alleged anti-party activity. Jai Kishan was a ticket aspirant from Najafgarh and was vocal in his protests after being denied a ticket.
Sadhana Sharma has been accused of working aginst Jile Singh Chauhan, Congress candidate from Bhalswa-Jehangirpuri.
