In 2017, a girl was murdered in Delhi for refusing a marriage proposal. The accused, Arjun alias Bhola, fled to Nepal after the crime. Recently, he was apprehended at the Indo-Nepal border after escaping from a Nepalese prison where he was allegedly involved in another murder case. He was initially suspected by the victim's father.

NEW DELHI: Eight years after a girl was killed in east Delhi's New Ashok Nagar for allegedly turning down a marriage proposal, the accused has been arrested at the Indo-Nepal border following his escape from a Nepal prison during a recent jailbreak.The murder took place in 2017. The victim's father had reported her abduction and raised suspicion on Arjun alias Bhola (31) and his associate Pintoo.

Shortly after, her body, with multiple stab injuries in the neck, was recovered from Arjun's rented house.
