Delhi Crime Branch Busts Fake Protein Racket, Third Accused Held

New Delhi: Delhi Police’s crime branch has arrested a third co-accused involved in allegedly supplying fake protein supplements.Police had previously arrested two accused, identified as Mohit Tiwari and Mohit Dixit. Based on their disclosures, cops traced one Naveen Kumar (32). A raid was conducted in the Rani Khera village, leading to the detection of another illegal manufacturing unit engaged in preparation and packaging, police said.The raid led to the seizures of 26 sealed plastic containers, 185 fake stickers, 49 fake holograms, 313 fake seals, 177 empty plastic jars, 20 bags of raw materials (10 of which were 25 kg each) and flavored raw material. Machinery and equipment were also seized.
