Defamation case against 2 AAP leaders

New Delhi: Twenty First Century Media, a sports management company headed by Lokesh Sharma, has filed a civil defamation suit in Delhi high court against senior AAP leaders and party spokespersons Ashutosh and Sanjay Singh for Rs 3 crore.
The matter was listed on Thursday and the court issued notice to both AAP leaders to appear in court on March 21, the next date of hearing.
The petition claimed AAP "spokespersons had made defamatory, derogatory, baseless and factually false allegations against the company (TCM) and Lokesh Sharma during their press conferences held in Delhi on December 18 and 19 with regard to grant of contracts to TCM by the DDCA".
The petitioner said that upon damages being granted, they would symbolically retain Re 1 and donate the rest of the money to the CM's relief fund.
