NEW DELHI: Police have arrested three men who had duped a BPO employee by fraudulently using his credit card twice.
“One of the accused, Jai Prakash, is victim's brother. He used the victim's credit card without permission, while the other, Sandeep Arya, is victim's cousin and third accused, Naveen Suyal is his roomate," V Renganathan, addl CP, west said.

Sandeep Arya (28) lives in Rohini and is a law graduate from Delhi University. He works for a finance company. Suyal is studying in BA second year from Ignou and victim’s brother, Jai Praksh is a Class XII passout, Renganathan added.
On July 11, Sanjay Arya, who lives in Loni area in Ghaziabad lodged a complaint at the Janakpuri police station, alleging that his credit card had been illegally used twice.
“First for making a purchase at Alukka Gold Palace, District Centre, Janakpuri, for a sum of Rs.1,33,000 and second time for an online purchase valuing Rs 1,60,000 at Caretlane.com after changing his mobile number registered with the issuing bank. The victim said he had never used his credit card, Renganathan said.
“The victim also reported that an attempt was made to change the password for the online transaction. We registered a case and began investigation,” he added.

During investigation, details of purchase were collected and identity card deposited with the Alukka Gold Palace was found to be a forged driving licence issued in the name of the complainant.
The photograph on the licence was shown to the complainant who confirmed the identity as that of a person residing with his cousin in Rohini.
A raid was conducted and the identified accused, Naveen Suyal, was arrested. He disclosed that the forged licence was made available to him by his roommate Sandeep Arya.
Both men were interrogated and they said the credit card was made available to them by Jai Prakash, the brother of the complainant. Later on, Jai Prakash was apprehended from Loni in Ghaziabad.
