Amanatullah Khan back as waqf board chief

, Amanatullah Khan, was on Tuesday unanimously elected as chairman of the Delhi Waqf Board. The election took place in a meeting of the board that was reconstituted last week. "Our MLA Amanatullah Khan was elected unopposed as waqf board chairperson. The board was without a chairperson for a long time. LG destroyed waqf board for years by keeping it without a chairperson," said AAP spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj.


Khan vowed that he will have zero tolerance towards corruption and will improve the functioning of the board.
