(AAJ) on Sunday paid tribute to the
Indian Army personnel
who were killed in the recent border clashes with China at
Galwan Valley
.
AAJ, in association with
Veterans India
organised 4th edition of its AAJ Webinar Series at JNU in which Union minister General VK Singh was the chief guest. He launched a "wall of honour" on the occasion as a tribute to the valour and courage of the soldiers.
AAJ also anounced to give a "scroll of honour” to each of the of Galwan Valley martyrs.
Speaking on the occasion, JNU registrar Dr Pramod Kumar said: "We are able to sleep peacefully just because we have our army safeguarding us putting their own lives in danger,” adding that AAJ’s organisation of the event immediately after the Sino-India Galwan Valley clashes and AAJ’s association with Veterans India are truly praise worthy.
