3 charred bodies recovered after two separate fires in Delhi’s Paharganj and Rithala
NEW DELHI: Three people died in two separate fires across the city.In the first incident, two charred bodies were recovered after a fire broke out at a toy godown in central Delhi’s Paharganj on Wednesday evening.

According to the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), a call regarding the blaze was received at around 4.37 pm. Fifteen fire tenders and nearly 75 fire personnel were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. After the fire was brought under control, two charred bodies were found inside the premises. Their identities are yet to be established, a DFS official said.
In a separate incident, the charred body of a girl was found after a fire broke out in a cluster of around 50 jhuggis in Rithala, in outer Delhi, on Thursday morning.DFS officials said they received a call about the fire at around 4.15 am, following which 15 fire tenders were dispatched to the spot. The jhuggi cluster also included a cardboard and paper godown, which fuelled the blaze, officials added.Cooling operations are underway at both locations, and authorities have launched investigations to ascertain the cause of the fires and establish the sequence of events leading to the incidents.
