23 IAS officers transferred, posted in major bureaucratic reshuffle
New Delhi: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Delhi govt's services department on Friday transferred and posted 23 IAS and DANICS (Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli Services) officers across various departments, along with handing over additional responsibilities. While principal secretary (vigilance) Sandeep Kumar, a 1997-batch IAS officer holding additional charge of the environment and forests and administrative reforms departments, was handed over the charge of the information technology department, Dilraj Kaur (2000-batch) was transferred from the general administration department to the social welfare department as principal secretary. She will continue to hold the additional charge of the SC/ST/OBC welfare department. Vikas Anand, a 2002-batch IAS officer, currently posted as secretary to the chief minister, will now also hold the additional charge of secretary in the information and publicity department. Shurbir Singh (2004-batch) will now be a full-fledged secretary in the finance department, with additional responsibilities for the GAD and power departments. Delhi Transport Corporation managing director, Prince Dhawan, has been given additional charge of special secretary (IT), while DM Central Sudhakar has got the additional responsibility of MD of Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation.
Anjali Sehrawat was transferred from the social welfare department to the higher education and training and technical education departments as director, while Kinny Singh, special secretary in Health, has been given the additional charge of secretary (public grievance commission). Sandeep Kumar Mishra, member secretary in the Delhi Pollution Control Committee, will also look after the additional charge of special secretary in the environment and forests department. DM North Yash Chaudhary has been transferred and posted as director (social welfare). He has been replaced by Kumar Abhishek, who was posted as general manager in DCCWS.
