Officials said there was apprehension that a person was trapped inside the cabin of the vehicle, which was buried under debris. An SDRF team led by sub-inspector Sawar Singh Negi reached the spot and launched a rescue operation. "After efforts in the dark, the team recovered a body from the truck," Negi said.
The road remained blocked due to accumulated debris. Boulders and mud were cleared later in the morning.
