Chit fund scam: Panel to present interim report today

Cuttack: The Justice M M Das commission, probing into the chit fund scam, is likely to submit its interim report to the state government on Wednesday. The report will be on the progress made on the inquiry so far and modalities fixed by it for refunding money to the duped investors.
Goods train derails near Rayagada station
A goods train on its way to Visakhapatnam carrying chemical powder from Rayagada derailed near Rayagada railway station around 3am on Tuesday.Officials said three coaches derailed and the tracks were cleared at 11.30am.
