Two men steal Rs 2.1lakh from furniture shop

Tirupur: South police are on the lookout for two men, who made way with Rs 2.1lakh from a furniture shop in the city by diverting the attention of the shop owner on Friday. They had targeted the shop of M Sakthivel of Pattukottaiyar Nagar at RVE Layout Main Road. The men had turned up at the shop on Friday morning, pretending to be customers. The managed to divert Sakthivel’s attention and stole the money, police sources said.TNN
