Two Bengaluru medical college students die in TN road accident
KRISHNAGIRI: Two medical students were killed after their bike crashed into a roadside billboard at Denkanikottai in Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu in the early hours of Wednesday.The Denkanikottai police identified the deceased as Varun Kadappal, 22, of Chattisgarh, and his friend Sisupal Singh, 21, of Rajasthan. They were studying medicine at ESI Medical College in Bengaluru.

According to a police officer, the accident took place while they were returning to Bengaluru on a bike after visiting Hogenakkal in Dharmapuri district. “When they reached Om Sakthi temple at Denkanikottai at 2am, Varun Kadappal, who was riding the bike, lost control while negotiating a sharp turn and crashed into the billboard.”He said both Varun and Sisupal sustained severe head injuries in the accident and died on the spot.When alerted, the Denkanikottai police sent the bodies to the govt hospital at Denkanikottai for postmortem. Police have registered a case and are inquiring.
