COIMBATORE: TVK candidate Vignesh K took an early lead in the Kinathukadavu constituency in Coimbatore as the counting of votes for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections got under way on Monday morning.
According to the official data released at the end of round 1, Vignesh is leading, marking a strong debut for actor-turned-politician Vijay's party in the Coimbatore district.
