Organs of brain dead Tirupur boy donated

Times News NetworkCoimbatore: The organs of a 13-year-old boy, who was declared brain dead following a recent road accident in Tirupur, were donated to various hospitals on Friday.The boy, a resident of Tirupur, met with a tragic road accident at Mangalam a few days ago. He was rushed to a private hospital in Coimbatore city. Despite treatment, he was declared brain dead on Thursday evening. Amid their painful loss, his parents chose to donate his organs.Accordingly, his liver, kidneys and lungs were transferred to various private hospitals in Coimbatore, Chennai and Vellore. Doctors said that through this humanitarian decision taken by the parents, several individuals are set to receive a new lease of life.Eom
