Onion-laden truck overturns and falls on two SUVs near Hosur
KRISHNAGIRI: A truck carrying onions overturned and fell on two sport utility vehicles (SUVs) near Hosur in Krishnagiri district on Thursday, causing traffic jam on the Bengaluru-Chennai National Highway. Two people suffered minor injuries in the accident.
"The SUVs were crushed. Thankfully, the occupants escaped with minor injuries," stated an officer at the Shoolagiri police station.
The truck was removed from the road using two cranes. It was carrying onions from Maharashtra to Tuticorin.
