Dr Jayashree Mahesh
is the first
runner up
in this year’s
Mrs Globe Classic pageant
, an international beauty pageant for women above the age of 45, which was held in California earlier this month. The fitness instructor was crowned Mrs India in 2016 and Mrs Coimbatore in 2006.
Jaya Mahesh, well-known for her body sculpting classes, had participated in the pageant which was conducted between June 13 and 18. She also won the Mrs Photogenic and Mrs Indian Ocean titles at the pageant, which had 85 participants from across the world.
Speaking to media, she said, “Age is just a proof of the quantum of love I received from the world and I always wants to give it back.”
Mahesh adorned a sari for her first appearance in the Mrs Globe Classic pageant. She also gave a short introductory speech about Coimbatore calling it the “Manchester of South India.”
The pageant had rounds like personality profile, photo shoots, go goddess theme, national costume, introduction, talent round and “one to one” sessions. Jayashree’s participation was represented by Flora Events founder Reshma Srijay.
Jayashree is said to have impressed the judges from the very first minute and till the end of the event, where she won many hearts with her charisma and friendly nature.
