Government boys school to represent Salem in state-level kho kho competition

Salem: The under 14 kho kho team of the Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Valasaiyur, Salem topped in the district-level competition and has been selected to represent Salem at the state-level.The school headmaster P Jeyalendiran and a teacher R Manivannan have sponsored the team jersey for state-level tournament. They distributed the jerseys at an event held in the school on Thursday. P Jeyalendiran, headmaster of the school said it was a proud moment for both the team and the entire school.Two alumni Suresh Babu and Ramesh Babu, physical education teachers S Yoganathan and K T Christhu Raja Anban Daniel were present at the event. The state-level competitions are scheduled to be held on February 16, 17 and 18, in Ranipet.
