Tamil Nadu: Girl, 10, kidnapped from home near Namakkal

NAMAKKAL: A 10-year-old girl was kidnapped from her house at Kaalichettipatty in the early hours of Sunday. According to the

police, P Saravanan, 34, of Pudukottai village, is a truck driver. Saravanan and Kousalya, 29, have a son and a daughter.

On Saturday night, Kousalya and their daughter slept on the open terrace due to the humid weather. Around 5am, when Saravanan returned home, the couple found their daughter missing and started searching for her. When their efforts failed, the couple filed a complaint with the Erumapatty police.
