DHARMAPURI: Judges and advocates in the Dharmapuri district combined court were evacuated on Tuesday after it received a hoax bomb threat email.The court received an email in the morning stating that a bomb would explode at 12.20 pm. Following this, court staff members alerted police, who deployed the bomb detection and disposal squad (BDDS) along with a sniffer dog named Loopy.

They evacuated everyone present on the court campus and conducted an intensive search in various areas throughout the court complex. However, they did not find anything suspicious.Following this, the BDDS officers declared it a hoax bomb threat. The court received a similar hoax bomb threat last week.
